Friday Gladheart is the author of The Practical Witch’s Almanac and founder of Witch Academy, the oldest and most respected online school for witches. Since 1996, she has been teaching courses in magical herbalism, tarot, witchcraft, and the intersection of magic and science. With nearly forty years of experience, Friday has become a leading voice in modern witchcraft, known for blending ancient traditions with practical methods that empower students to discover and strengthen their own magic.
Her teaching style is grounded, approachable, and deeply rooted in both tradition and research. Lessons often emphasize hands-on practice, critical thinking, and spiritual connection, encouraging students to weave their craft into everyday life for lasting transformation.
Friday also hosts the Practical Witch Talk podcast, where she shares insights, folklore, and real-world applications of magical practice. While her handcrafted incense and oils are loved by metaphysical shops nationwide, her central passion is teaching and guiding others to build their own magical practice with confidence.
